A 3 bedroom well equipped cottage, Near Montreuil, situated just a few minutes from Junction 8 on the A83 and the Renaissance town of Fontenay le Comte on the edge of the Marais Poitevin overlooking 200 hectares of unspoilt land in a quiet hamlet. Close to all the amenities of Fontenay le Comte, approx. 5mins from Fontenay-le-Comte, 40 mins from the long sandy Atlantic beaches from La Tranche to Les Sable d'Olonne.

Living area in the Large lounge/diner you will find a dining table to seat 8/10, comfortable corner type sofa and a full sized bed settee. English Sat TV, video, DVD, CD player and ample books and games, there are a selection of DVD/Video's for the children and adults.
Bedrooms. The master bedroom has a double bed, wardrobe and drawers and in this room you will find a full size cot. The twin room contains 2 comfortable single beds and bedside tables and the sunny triple room has 3 single beds, bedside tables and a set of drawers. On the landing there is a large wardrobe. Baby gate at the top of the stairway.
Bathroom and Toilets. There is a shower room and separate WC on the ground floor and a Bathroom with shower, bath and WC on the 1st floor.
Garden and outdoor facilities. The secure and enclosed garden is childproof and dog proof, mature fruit trees in the lower garden and some delightful flower beds, the BBQ area and dining table for those lovely evening meals is also located in the lower garden, the upper garden has enough space for the children to play badminton and there is a small above ground pool with detachable steps for added security and can be viewed from the BBq seating area so you can have your glass of wine and keep an eye on the children. There is ample patio furniture and some sun loungers for reading the books in the shade of the Cherry trees.
Miscellaneous. The house has a laundry room and is centrally heated. A cot and high chair is available. Off road parking, central heating and log burner. Pets are welcome.
Location. The glorious long sandy beaches of the Atlantic coast are just 40 min's away, the delightful port of La Rochelle boasts, probably, some of the best seafood restaurants around and is steeped in local history.
Activities. cycling, walking, bird watching, something for families of all ages.

Beautiful cottage and gite, the pictures don't do it justice, the pool was enjoyed by all plus with it being an overground type there were no worries that the smaller children could fall in. We had a very relaxing and peaceful holiday.
