This 3 bedroom house is located between the villages of Saint Gervais and Chateauneuf and is 10 minutes from the coast. Close to the beaches of Notre Dame de Monts, 2 local supermarkets at Beauvoir sur Mer, which is 6 miles away. A large garden set in 4 acres, of which, 1 acre is kept as lawn. A covered BBQ and seating area for those enjoyable evenings, sitting in the sun with a good bottle of wine.

The kitchen is very well equipped; it has electric mini oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, ample storage and work surfaces. Fully equipped with crockery, cutlery/utensils, Bowls, Pans, all that you need and would expect to find in your own home. A washing machine and drying area
Living area. The Lounge has a comfortable corner sofa unit, TV & DVD player, tiled floor and exposed beams. Log burning fire. A selection of books, videos/DVDs and games.
Bedrooms. 1 double bed with en-suite. Bedroom 2, Twin beds, Bedroom 3, bunk beds, all bedrooms have built in wardrobes & fully equipped with quilts and pillows, well furnished.
Bathroom and Toilets. 1 en suite shower room and a 2nd bathroom shared with bedrooms 2 & 3 with Shower and bath. A separate WC
Garden and outdoor facilities. Large 1 acre lawned garden front and rear with BBq in covered seating area, loungers, table and chairs with some outdoor games.
Miscellaneous. All services are included, water heating & electricity. Small charge for linen hire should you require that facility and an optional cleaning service can be provided.
Location. The area is a 2 hour drive from the port of St. Malo, 3.5 hours from Ouistream (Caen) and 4.5 hrs from Cherbourg. It is on the West coast of France. Picturesque La Rochelle and popular resorts such as La Tranche sur Mer and Les Sables D'Olonne are close by. The beaches of Notre Dame de Monts, 12 miles, a seaside village with the finest textured sand in the Vendee. Nearest Airports La Rochelle & Nantes are serviced by low cost airlines and car hire is available at these airports.
Activities. The area abounds with many attractions, some of which are "Autrefois Challans"a fair on 4 days in July and August, the clock is turned back to 1910 and more than 1000 local people dress in the turn of the century clothing. Saint Jean de Monts , 17 miles, a popular seaside resort with 8km of golden sand. Golf, sand yachting, tennis, riding and archery. Arbre et Aventure at Paree Jesus , tree climbing / zip wires on circuits 1 to 12 metres above ground. Pornic 23 miles, Chic seaside resort full of narrow lanes on a rocky coastline dominated by a fairy tale castle. Karting Loisirs Challandais - Family orientated, 700 metre karting centre. Planet Racing - Jet skiing and water rides, paint ball, cross county Karting and mini circuit for children's quad bikes. Well located for a number of very high class competition standard golf courses.

Mrs Briggs. Aug 09. - We enjoyed our holiday very much and the accommodation was very comfortable with the outdoor area and surroundings beautifully peaceful. The Vendee is a beautiful region and we loved spending time on the beach. There was also lots of other things to do and visit which made exciting as well as relaxing. We also enjoyed watching the local wildlife and our children had a great time chasing lizards, grasshoppers and frogs. I would recommend the area to anyone as it is great for families with children of all ages. Although it sounds a bit miserable, we enjoyed not seeing many British people during our stay! We would definitely consider going again next year.
