Close to all the amenities of the small towns of Foussais Payre, Coulonge sur l'Autise and St. Hillaire de Loges. Approx. 15mins from Fontenay-le-Comte, 45 - 60 mins from the long sandy Atlantic beaches from La Tranche to Les Sable d'Olonne.

The kitchen is equipped with a new electric oven with ceramic hob over, Fridge/freezer, washing machine, a single drainer sink unit. The dining area has a large rectory table seating 8 and a door leading into the garden.
Living area. The lounge has 2 comfortable double sofas, English SAT TV, CD Player and Log Burner inset fireplace with windows looking into the garden.
Bedrooms. The master bedroom has 1 double bed and wardrobe and again looks out to the garden, there are 3 twin rooms. Duvets and pillows are provided.
Bathroom and Toilets. The bathroom is on the ground floor and has a shower, single vanity with mirror above plus a tall unit for towels and accessories. The toilet is in the Shower room.
Garden and outdoor facilities An enclosed garden with private patio/veranda with furniture.Large private salt water swimming pool with a solar powered automatic security cover fitted for your safety. The BBQ is located in the pool area.

Location. Rural location. The nearby villages of Foussais Payre & St Hillaire de Loges have bars, restaurants, boulangeries and butchers, post offices & small supermarket. You are 10 min's from the Mervent lake and forest and 15 min's drive is the larger town of Fontenay-le-Comte and has all the major stores and facilities you may require.
Activities. 5 mins distance from man made beach perfect for family picnics. Pedalo and rowing boat hire available, safe swimming area. (in high season). 15 minutes to the historic village of Vouvant, voted one of the most beautiful villages in France. The area has many attractions to suit all the family and is ideal for walking, bike riding, bird watching, fishing, sailing. There are a number of high quality golf courses in the Vendee many of them to competition standard. Other attractions like Futuroscope, Puy de Fou (le grand parcour and cinescenic night show) and the brandy houses at Cognac are all easy day trips. You are also just 50 min's to the port town of La Rochelle with its wonderful seafood restaurants, the marine aquarium is well worth a visit with the family
