In the Holiday Village of Port Bourgenay on the Atlantic Coast in the Vendee region of France. Port Bourgenay is 8km south of the seaside town of Les Sables D'Olonne in an area known as the ‘Cote de Lumiere' due to the amount of sun hours it receives throughout the year. It is an area very accessible from all Ferry Ports and the Airports of Nantes and La Rochelle. The village, with it's traffic free environment it has everything required for a perfect holiday. A pool complex with flume and toddler's pool plus an exclusive pool for ‘Maison' guests. An 18 hole golf course with driving range and putting greens.

The kitchen. Is open plan with Oven, hot plates, combi microwave, fridge/freezer dishwasher and breakfast bar. Full compliment of crockery, cutlery, glasses, coffee cups, pots and pans for six persons.

Bedrooms. Bedroom 1 with double bed and balcony. Bedroom 2 with two single beds.

Bathroom and Toilets. Bathroom with bath, over bath shower and WC. plus a ground floor WC.

Garden and outdoor facilities. There is a private patio with garden furniture and leading to a communal grass lawn. This is a nice area to sit and a safe place for children to play in.

Miscellaneous. Bicycles are available for hire. There is a launderette on site. Allocated parking space. Linen and towel hire available from reception.

Location. The gite is set in a gated area and is quite exclusive. Anyone who uses the house will be given the access code to get through the gates by the reception. It has its own heated communal pool. The house is about 100yds from the pool. Nearest Airports La Rochelle, Poitiers & Nantes are served by most of the low cost airlines and car hire is available. 3hrs from the ferry port of St Malo, 5hrs from Cherbourg, 4 hrs from Caen.

Activities. The 18 hole golf course has a driving range and putting greens. Lessons are available. The golf course is part of the ‘Formula Du Golf Circuit', which allows you to play a variety of local courses at reduced rates. Golf is good all year due to the climate. Nine tennis courts, table tennis, volleyball, sailing school, surf school, circus skills school, archery, fishing, keep fit course, jogging and aerobics. Some activities are limited to high season. There are children's clubs for all age groups from nursery to teenage. There is a Marina which is part of the village and a fresh water lake where you can go fishing. The superb blue flag ‘Vellion Beach' is 1km away and can be reached by car, coastal walk or free tourist train in season. There are various restaurants and shops around the Village and Marina. If you can tear yourself away from Port Bourgenay there are lots on offer in the Vendee. The town of Les Sables D’Olonne with its fine restaurants, shops and beaches and Talmont St Hilaire With its Medieval Castle and oyster beds. The Theme Park ‘Le Puy de Fou’ with its spectacular Son et Lumiere evening show. The undisturbed marshes of the Marais Poitevin with winding canals. There is even a French style horse racing track nearby with regular summer meetings. This is only a few of the attraction in the Holiday Village.
