A super detached bungalow with open views of the countryside located in the hamlet of La Tournerie, just outside the very busy village of Coex in the sunny Vendee region. La Tournerie is just a ten minute drive from the seaside resort of St. Gilles-Croix-de-Vie which has fantastic beaches for swimming, sailing and surfing. In addition, St Gilles has a wide variety of restaurant, bars, shops and other activities.

The kitchen. This is a modern fitted kitchen, with a cooker, electric oven and gas hob, fridge with freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle, crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils. Iron and board. There is an Island unit for food preparation or a breakfast bar and a quantity of work surfaces. A dining table with seating for 4/6 persons. The washing machine is located in the Utility rooms, off the kitchen and has a sink unit for rinsing through the swimming costumes. There is a child's high chair

Living area. A large sunny well furnished living room with double doors opening out to the front garden and terrace area, this overlooks the fields and lake. 2 large and comfortable double sofas, coffee table. CD player, Sat TV and DVD player.

Bedrooms. The Master bedroom has a double sleigh bed, bedside tables and drawer units, full size wardrobe.The 2nd bedroom has a double bed, bedside tables, drawer units and bunk beds for the children, both bedrooms are are a good size, light and airy. Linen is provided but please bring your own towels. There is also a child's cot.

Bathroom and Toilets. Bathroom with a bath and overhead shower + WC. Wash hand basin vanity unit and large mirror. A 2nd separate toilet.

Garden and outdoor facilities. The gardens surround the property and include a large grassed area to the rear with good views over the surrounding country side. At the front of the bungalow there is a pretty garden. Garden table, parasol and chairs for those evening BBQ's enjoying the evening sun with a glass of wine or 2. Ample parking space for two or more cars.

Miscellaneous. Services i.e. electricity, gas and water are included in the price. The area is a 2 hour drive from the port of St. Malo, 3.5 hours from Ouistream (Caen) and 4.5 hrs from Cherbourg. It is on the West coast of France. Picturesque La Rochelle and popular resorts such as La Tranche sur Mer and Les Sables D'Olonne are close by. Nearest Airports, Nantes 45 minutes. La Rochelle 1.5 hours, both of these are served by the low cost airlines and car hire is available at these airports.

Location. On the edge of Coex village, facilities include cash point, bakers, small supermarket, 3 bars, restaurant, chemist and a wine cave. It has the tourist attraction of Jardin de Olfacties which is a very colourful, fragrant garden. This area has lots to do for all the family including a golf course and range, there is a swimming pool and restaurant adjacent to the clubhouse, this facility is open to the public. Horse riding, surfing, canoeing, water parks, crazy golf, go-cart racing or cycling along the Atlantic coast on safe cycle paths from St. Gilles. This area has some of the best waves for surfing.

Actitities. Well located for a number of very high class competition standard golf courses. Cycling, surfing, sailing, fishing, horse riding, walking and go-karting to name just a few are all available nearby. You can sample a wealth of local produce, freshly caught fish and a variety of shellfish at many of the villages and towns regular weekly markets and summer festivals, particularly the market at Coex every Saturday. Beaches (Grande Plage and Boisvinet) are close by. There is fishing at the lake Gué Gorand. To visit in St Gilles-Croix-de-Vie are the fishing museum, Tour Josephine lighthouse and Le Hope, a historical wooden fishing boat. Other attractions in the area include the feudal chateau at Commenquiers and the velo rail (pedal powered railway cart), Puy du Fou theme park, a slow boat on The Marais Poitevin, cycle tours of the salt marshes, Les Sables d'Olonne zoo just to mention but a few.
